September 28, 2006 was proclaimed Joe Richardson Day in Austin, Texas by Mayor Will Wynn. Joe and the Express performed "Virginia" in the council chambers at City Hall at approximately 5:30 p.m. After performing the song for the Mayor and Council members, they received the Proclamation. The City Council meeting aired live on Cable Channel 6 and we hope you all enjoyed the unplugged performance. Thanks....... the Joe Richardson Express !!
